Rabbits, indians and… Symfony meets queueing brokers
It is 2015, and if you are processing resource-intensive tasks in directly in your PHP applications or using cronjobs, you are soon going the way of the dinosaurs.
Queuing systems can help to improve response times, scalability and stability of web apps. However, there is a learning curve involved. In this talk, the speakers will give an overview of queueing systems, focusing on the amqp protocol – but not just rabbitmq, and go from architecture to implementation and integration with Symfony. Make it fly, make it scale!
